Books & Resources

"I Love Islam" Curriculum

The books we use are an established curriculum as part of a series called "I Love Islam". Developed in the US, it is specifically designed for Islamic Schools with over 400 schools using the books worldwide.

Each book is split into lessons with supplementary workbooks containing questions and activities to engage children and develop their understanding. Each book is designed to run for the entire school year, and our teachers supplement lessons with additional materials as needed.

Senior Class Additional Texts

Our senior classes delve into supplementary texts covering fiqh, seerah, hadith, and the Islamic Sciences. Here is a selection of some of the books they have studied in recent years:

  • Muhammad The Last Prophet: A Model for all Times by Sayyed Abul Hassan Ali Nadwi
  • Bulugh Al-Maram
  • Purification of the Heart
  • Al-Fiqh Al Islami by Shaykh Mohammad Akram Nadwi
  • The Art of Cultivating Noble Character by Imam Raghib al-Isfahani
  • Al Shama'il al-Muhammadiyya
  • The 40 Hadiths of Imam Nawawi
  • The Creed of Imam At-Tahawi

Prayer (Salah)

For all younger classes, Zuhr Salah is prayed in congregation while reading aloud to help them learn how to pray as well as focus on memorisation. Salah is observed in small groups to ensure children are praying correctly. For the older children who know how to pray Salah, we perform Zuhr in jama'ah every week.
